Caroline Wozniacki

The Danish superstar has the world at her feet, with her blonde hair, fantastic footwork, outstanding game and the nous to win big tournaments.

The young ace was touted by Martina Navratilova as a future Wimbledon champion and world no1.

With the backing from the greatest ever player, Wozniacki lived up to her billing as a superstar of the future by becoming the Eastbourne superstar of 2009 to claim her first ever senior singles title on grass.

The previous year and teenager Wozniacki failed to make it past the qualifying event, so has a record at Devonshire Park of seven successes and just one defeat.  

Reached quarter-finals at 2010 French Open.

Chances of winning | Whether she will turn up to defend her Eastbourne crown depends on her fitness after the gruelling French Open. Should easily ease to the semi-finals.
