Agnieszka Radwanska
The 2008 Eastbourne champion has a superb game that is most suited to fast surfaces, such as grass. Agnieszka Radwanska has finished as semi-finalist at Dubai and Indian Wells in 2010, but has yet to claim a title. But Devonshire Park is her best chance this campaign, before she returns to SW19.
After winning 2008 Eastbourne, Radwanska romped to the quarter-finals at 2008 Wimbledon before Serena Williams halted the plucky Pole. As a result of eight successive wins on grass, she was tipped to be a future champion at SW19 by a number of ex-professionals from the WTA Tour.
With 2008 her breakthrough season, Radwanska continued her rich vein of form in 2009. However, at Devonshire Park in 2009, her defence was halted in the quarter-finals although she bounced back by again breezing through to the last eight at 2009 Wimbledon before eventual champion Venus Williams accounted for Radwanska's scalp.
Reached second round at the 2010 French Open.
Chances of winning | Tough array of grass court experts means that Radwanska must be at her very best to reach the final. As form is topsy-turvy, can realistically expect a run to the semi-finals.
