Left-handed Spaniard player has a dangerous serve but has surprisingly shown poor form over the past season and a half.

Grass, like hard courts, suit his wily serve and volley style. Twice a quarter-finalist at Wimbledon (2005 and 2008), so is definitely one of the players to avoid. Has a SW19 career record of 18 wins and eight defeats at SW19.

With six final ATP Tour appearances, Lopez has two titles to his credit. Won the Johannesburg event on hard court in South Africa in February 2010, almost six years after capturing his first title in Vienna, Austria.

Reached first round of 2010 French Open.
