Agnieszka Radwanska, a Devonshire Park Centre Court favourite, needed just 63 minutes to see off American Christina McHale to race into the Nottingham Open semi-finals.
The Polish ace, who has slipped out of the world’s top 10, was her usual emphatic self on grass with a polished 6-3 6-1 victory.
Seeded #1 Radwanska surprisingly dropped her serve in the initial game but wrapped up the opening set in 31 minutes, only losing 15 more points in the set.
And poor McHale was outplayed into the whirlwind second set, winning a mere 13 points to succumb to red-hot Radwanska.
The Polish world #13 will be expecting to make the final at Nottingham, with American Lauren Davis next and if successful Radwanska faces either Eastbourne-based Johanna Konta or Romanian Monica Niculescu in the last four
